Laura Hocking’s I Am Christmas was on our very first Christmas album back in 2010. The London-based singer-songwriter wrote this track about her mother’s rescheduling of a childhood Christmas: “how could it be Christmas if I didn’t cook, and your father was still overseas?/Who gives a stuff for the day of the year? It’s Christmas when I say it is.”
